I was wondering if you could please tell me what an Ichimoku chart does, and how it works?

"Ichimoku" in Japanese translates to "one look". A Japanese journalist devised this charting technique that makes use of midpoints of the prices' historical highs and lows to see the equilibrium prices of securities in just one glance.
