In my case, I use two indicators (MACD and RSI) to confirm a possible trend formation. If you want to know how to use these two indicators, check out the School of Pipsology section at www.babypips.com.

I use the EMA20 and EMA50 to check if a new trend or a reversal is brewing for a particular pair. Drawing trendlines are also helpful for me since these allow me to tell whether the price movement is keeping with the trend or starting to break out.

I’m currently using three indicators plus three different time frames for confirmation.
