What are the main reasons of an accumulation of crude oil in the US, and what implies a low or high stock on economy?

Well, crude oil is the blood that runs most economies since it is the major source of energy. A growing stock suggests that economic activity (industrial, manufacturing, transportation, etc.) in the US is improving. Having less stock, on the other hand, could slow down the country's economic growth.
