Is it safe to invest money in forex trading?
In the traditional way of investing, the best place to put your money is in real estate. It’s like planting your seeds (money) into the soil where it will grow and bear fruits for you. But the saying is kind of getting old. These days, there are various ways of making your money grow and earn profits such as forex trading. Can anyone explain how to trade with forex? Is this safe? Please give more suggestions. Thank you.

How "safe" investing in forex is entirely up to you. The truth is, in every investment, there is some risk to it - even if it is very little. The risks in forex trading are of course, that you can blow out your entire account if you don't know what you are doing. Trading - like every other investment - requires a lot of studying, practice, hardwork and patience. I suggest you go through BabyPips' School of Pipsology. It's a great starting point for someone who wants to learn more about forex trading.

Hello, I believe this is a grey question let me explain. Real estate is a fantastic investment, experienced investors tend to start getting into commercial real estate investments to get better returns, however entry level residential investment will reward even the most novice of investor if they hang on to it for a long time.Forex on the other hand has many more variables. And especially for the novice investor that isn’t equipped with the psychology to handle the emotions present in trading it is very realistic that they can lose all money invested, where as real estate it may crash down but you will always have an amount of value within the property and if you can hang on you will be ok in the end. This way of thinking will hurt you in the market as the idea of holding on will destroy your account. If you are considering forex as an investment you must be prepared to lose the money. I would recommend if you are still keen you will multiply your chances 10 fold if you seek the experience of a professional trader.Forex is only risky to the inexperienced emotional trader. Once you intrinsically know the uncertainty present (and know you don’t need to KNOW which way the markets going to make money) and can control your emotions; then forex has limited risk with rewards that far out way the negative.Hope this helps. Trading the forex market carries a certain amount of risk. I'd say its pretty risky especially to the ones who delve in trading it without the necessary knowledge and tools. Treasuries and bonds are the safer assets since its coupons are guaranteed by the the issuing body. The forex market, on the other hand, is very volatile. I would suggest that you only trade the amount that you are willing to use. If you want to know the basics of forex trading, you may check the website below.

Choosing the best way to invest money will depend on how much attention you can give to your investment. Long-term stocks do not need much time and attention; but you will not know if your money was growing or not so you will have to be vigilant for regular updates. Investing money on forex trading will need some research, patience, and a modicum of knowledge on currencies. Forex trading is safe as long as you observe both risk and money management. Also, you must have tons of self-discipline. :)

Some people choose forex because the money is always liquid. Some people prefer stocks even when money is invisible. With forex, you see your losses and gains at once. With stocks, you must invest larger amount of money without knowing if it will earn profits or not.

Can you do hands-on? Do you have ample time to look after your money? If the answer’s yes to both: go forex. You’ll be in control at all times... well, almost. Now, if you don't want to do the ‘dirty’ jobs at all—trade with stocks.

What happened in the real estate market is very sad, indeed. But trading is like a wheel. There are ups and downs, of course. Losing is also highly possible in forex, especially when you haven’t mastered the rules and principles of the currency trading yet. It’s understandable that you won’t be able to trust your money with anybody but yourself so forex trading is for you. You’ll be the only one who’ll run your show. You asked if it's safe; well, nothing is safe and anything can happen in forex trading -- or in any kind of trading, for that matter.

I don’t want to do any dirty jobs so forex trading is not for me. I heard that hiring someone to trade in the currency market for me is possible but may not be profitable. I’ll try forex when I’m older and have more time to spare. This is also my suggestion for you. If you don't have time to watch charts for many hours, invest your money to stocks or real estate.

I think, forex is like driving your own car. Keep your wits with you and you’ll be out of harm’s way. I might consider hiring a person who’ll trade for me but I’ll make sure that he or she is trustworthy. Must do an extensive research first.
