I would really like to know the possibility of trading in forex while in Africa(Uganda to be more specific.) the banking systems here are still arguably underdeveloped.wouldn't this limit this kind of trade? Can the numerous forex brokers be of significant help to me on this side of the globe?

Yes, I think you still can. Just look for a broker that offers forex trading services in your region or nearby. I think there are several brokers that would allow you to trade there in Africa.

As long as your bank allows wire transfers, I think you will be fine. You could always check with the bigger brokers through emal/phone. Customer service representatives usually do their best to answer any question you ask them. Try heading over to ReviewPips.com to see possible brokers.

Yes you can and I know a number of people electronically trading in Uganda. You should get in touch with us as we're trying to find other people who are actively trading based in Uganda too.
