Reports such as interest rate decisions, monetary policy statements, GDP releases, employment reports, and retail sales data have a huge impact on the markets. If you're not a fan of high volatility, you can also trade other market-moving reports such as the PMI, consumer confidence index, trade balance data, or industrial production figures.

I don't know what you mean by "good" really but if you mean reports that cause lots of volatility swings you could go with GDP reports, retail sales data and employment reports. and interest rate decisions. Economic calendars tend to note these things by putting a red mark/flag on the report.

You should also take a look at trading of other markets such as commodities and stocks as these can also have an effect on the currency markets. For example, any news regarding oil or gold can significantly alter the trading of the CAD and AUD respectively. Also, stock trading can affect sentiment, which in turns also affects how traders trade currencies. A rise in stocks and equities normally means that risk sentiment is picking up. In turn, higher yielding assets also benefit from this as traders look for bigger returns.
