How to Compute Daily Gain with Equivalent to Percent
Example: My account is 2K and I gained 100 pips in one day. How much percent did my account gain?

To compute how much percent you gained, just get the amount in dollars you gained and divide it by your account balance before the trade. For example, if you risked a dollar per pip, and gained 100 pips, your account would have gained 5% (100$ / 2000$).

You can use this handy formula for computing the percentage gain in your account:
[ (Dollars per pip) x (Number of pips gained) ] / (Initial account balance)
