In mt4, one lot refers to one standard lot (100,000 units). Meanwhile, 0. 1 lot, also called a mini lot, equates to 10,000 units. Lastly, a 0. 01 lot, or a micro lot, equates to 1,000 units.

Are you asking about how to calculate your position size in your trades in MT4? You can use the BabyPips.com position size calculator, which would tell you how many units you should trade depending on your risk preferences. All you have to do is input the following: account currency, account balance, risk percentage, stop loss in pips, and the currency pair you want to trade. It'll give you the amount at risk, position size, and the equivalent number of standard/mini/micro lots.
