How do you measure a pair Average True Range?
I know there's a technical indicator in MT4, however I don't understand how to use it to get the actually 'pip' value. For example how do I know that 140 is the ATR for GBP/USD or 180 is the ATR for USD/CAD.

Just set the parameters or length to your desired number. If the number you set is 20 on the daily chart, whatever the result you get is the average pip movement of 20 candles. If it says 0.0140, it means that the pair, on average, moves 140 pips in one day. Hope that helps!
