How can i sell eur if i only have usd?
I'm just trying to fundamentally understand whats going on here.
I opened a 50k practice account. The 50k is in USD and I have a EUR/USD option where I can sell EUR. How can this be? I mean I only have 50k USD I don't have any EUR to sell in the first place? Thanks for your help and blessings to you!

If you're shorting the eur, that means you're "borrowing" it first so that you can sell it now, then you buy it back later on in order to cover your position. You don't have to own the currency to do that.
