Resolved Question
Do you think a different time zone has an effect on trading hours? I’m also wondering if I can trade 24/7 a week.

Even though the Forex market is a 24 hour market, it isnt open on weekends. Also, the market is more active during certain times of the day. The most volatile trading hours are those when the Asian, European and US trading sessions overlap. So yes, depending on where you live, it will have an effect on when you want to trade. For example, if you live on the west coast, you might have to wake up earlier to get the open of the US session as well as the back end of the European session. Forex trading is not open 24/7 more like 24/5.5. Closes at 4pm EST Friday and opens again 5pm EST Sunday.

Just a reminder that weekends are the days which less trading happens - it's very quiet so I don't think it's a good idea to trade during these days. Oanda allows weekend trading but the spreads are massive.
